Embracing Novels

Reading novel is not my passion. I love to read inspirational books. To be honest, I'm not really a wide reader, I easily get tired when I read books. I preferred to surf the net, chat with my friends, go somewhere else and watch television during my spare time.

For me, reading novels is just waste of my time and effort. Imagining myself reading 250 to 400 pages or sometimes 700+ pages, it is very tiring. But then, suddenly was changed when I first read a novel entitled "The Sky is Falling" written by one of the most well known novelist Sidney Sheldon. After I read this novel, I was inspired and encouraged myself to read more novels as I could. This novel opens me in the world of fiction.

I've realized that reading novel is not wasting your time. Reading novel is very interesting, entertaining, fascinating, and exciting. Through reading novel it helps you to broaden your imagination because it makes you a better thinker and improves your empathy towards others.

First novel that I've read. The Sky is Falling by Sidney Sheldon. This novel is spellbinding with glamour, sex, power and murder that spans the globe. It really captured my imagination on how the protagonist named Dana Evans survived and search for the truth behind the tragic death of the Winthrops family.
